I support the railbanking of the North Coast Rail line for future development as the Great Redwood Trail. I oppose the reconstruction of the rail for freight as the Eel River valley cannot geologically sustain the traffic needed to be economically viable. I emphatically oppose the proposed coal transport for shipping out of Humboldt Bay to China. California is burning, the planet is in dire danger. Humboldt County will strongly oppose coal freight on that line. We support the railbanking of that line while legal issues are being completed. Thank you
