There is a rail line that runs through the city near a Joint use airport, the MidAmerica Airport, and a Boeing facility. Any changes to this rail line or its operations must not dimmish accessibility, use, nor the safety of those two facilities, or the property within the limits of the City of Mascoutah, nor the City’s capacity to provide services to residents and businesses within its limits.
