We have received your request for information regarding your project. Our office has an online screening tool, https://ipac.ecosphere.fws.gov/, for your use in reviewing projects for impacts to federally listed species. To obtain a list of species that may be present in the Louisiana portion of the area, we recommend uploading a shapefile of Louisiana sites. The tool will generates a list of protected species that may be present in the project area and can also assist you with making an effects determination for those species using determination keys. There could be multiple determination keys available. Please complete all that are applicable to your organization and this project and you will receive a letter with directions on whether or not it is necessary to send it in to us for concurrence and/or further review.
