We have grave concerns about the potential railroad being put in very close to our home. We have many types of wildlife on our property, including red tail hawks, which are a protected under the Migratory Bird Treaty Act. We also have many other migratory birds including the golden cheek warbler and the black-bellied whistling ducks which visit us each year. We have also seen eagles in the area as well. Besides migratory birds, we also have a seen a great number of deer, turkey, fox, road runners, etc. All of these are bound to be run off with the noise and vibrations. In addition to wildlife, we are concerned regarding the amount of rock dust and diesel contaminants that will be in our back yard. We both already have respiratory issues and adding these will only make our health issues worse. Noise pollution and potential fire hazards are a concern as well. Please consider this our request for your agency to take the responsibility to protect our wildlife, not to mention our own health issues, caused by this potential railway. Our peaceful life is threatened to be disrupted by a greedy company whose only motive is to line their own pockets. Respectfully, Robert and Jennifer Mather
