We own original, 1860s great grandfathers home on Mesquite creek! Full of animal and fish life! Newts, bass sunfish turtles frogs . Also variety of wild cats as property untouched ,in original state! And Yes Warblers, cardinals, hawks!! Basically an animal refuge!! This is not a dry area as multiple springs along creek and up on hill!! On old maps an artesian spring is listed on north side of creek which sometimes still produces on cousins land. Not counting two cemetery’s west up creek, an old black cemetery and a sm one with John Slaughters first wife! Kaye Hales
