My property is very close to the path of this proposed rail line. There is no upside for me or anyone around here to this rail line. This will lower our property values and brings noise pollution 1.64 times a day... Disruption to the wildlife in this area which includes endangered species will occur. Me and my wife purchased property here in 2017 to build a place where we can retire. We have cleaned up the property we are on and built an oasis here where we planned to spend our retirement in peace. This proposed line will totally upend that for my family. Is this project going to benefit Texas or our local community? No it will not. This is so some private company can make more money. That is what this comes down to. Someone wants to make money faster and they are fine to do that at the detriment of hundreds of other families in the area. I will not support this proposed line!
