· We have a federally protected endangered bird living right here in the hill country, in all these dense cedar trees, that’s protected by the Endangered Species Act, the Golden-Cheeked Warbler. · The Balcones Canyonlands just 10 miles from here as the crow flies, is a 27,500 acre refuge specifically created for the Golden-Cheeked Warbler. · Apparently they’re currently conducting an environmental impact assessment, well here’s the thing about environmental assessments, you have to enter our properties to do that, and no one from any environmental agency has accessed our properties. LASTLY, this is all privately owned property, the land is already owned by people not wanting to sell and have this monstrosity rolling through.
