Lampasas is struggling to maintain its rich history and protect its natural resources. Since the 1800’s people/tourists have flocked to the area for its many world renowned natural Springs. We also rely on tourism for our other natural resource: hunting. Lampasas sees hundreds of hunters year after year and we believe this unwanted PRIVATE for profit “Quarry Train” will severely compromise and have a negative impact on deer populations and honestly, create an economic disaster to the local economies of both Burnet and Lampasas. Please DENY the permit or permission to move this project forward.
