The wildlife population in Burnet County has taken a significant drop over the last few years, much of it attributable to construction. Whitetail are scarce, raccoons are nowhere to be found, the number of birds has decreased. The hill country has taken enough hits. This train project in no way benefits the vast majority of Burnet County residents, land owners or not. The construction process alone will damage untold acres of land, running off & killing more wildlife. There is absolutely no need for this project & the damage to wildlife, the trespassing & destruction of properties, thereby damaging property values, is completely unconscionable. This project must be shutdown & shutdown right now.
