This railway would cross over two tributaries of Mesquite Creek which flows into the Lampasas River. The Lampasas River provides drinking water to many communities in central Texas. Fish and other aquatic creatures, wildlife and domestic herds could be detrimentally affected by pollution, hazardous material and disruptive noise from the constant daily trips that are planned by this extremely long, loud and dirty train. The proposed railway would pass within 200 yards of my house, destroying the peace and tranquility that my family has enjoyed for over 46 years here. Thank you for your courteous consideration of our opposition to this proposal. With Kind Regards, David Love.
