I believe the proposed railroad will destroy generations of rural habitat, and create noise disturbances, and make a constant fire hazard. I know a few folks that have lived on 963 since they were born, are now in their 80s, that do not remember a rail road crossing 963. I know land owners along the proposed route that have natural springs, and navigable caves, that would be destroyed. This is a horrible decision for our community, and I guarantee if it was to be done in the area of the Texas Materials owner’s residence, this conversation would not be taking place.
