I totally opposed to the Green Eagle Railroad project for many reasons, to begin with that it will be a serious hazard to the ecology and environment of the region that will seriously affect not only texas residents, but Mexico's people in the event of chemical spread harming the air we breathe, land and seriously the Rio Grand water used for both Texas and Coahuila Mexico to provide potable for personal use as well as for cooking, watering plants, etc, by contamiting and killing all type of water life and creatures, deer, coyotes, wild pigs, and many others. Another reason is all the traffic it will bring as the train crosses Del Rio Blvd (277 hw) to connect to the existing rail way in the city, I don't consider building an over pass will be an intelligent solution to this particular matter, due to while construction (will take long) it will seriously affect the ONLY route of traffic for the Deer Run, Eagle Point, Seco Mines, Elm Creek, etc residents as well as all the people traveling from Del Rio TX and other areas from up north west. That over pass will affect small businesses on the way. There's new neighborhoods growing in the area (right next to it) of young families that are putting all their dreams and money paying property taxes and mortgages that will loose value and affect US will all the previously said, the tranquillity and peace, it will bring more undocumented people crossing the border using this "green train", and last but not least, it it ONLY BENEFIT a FEW, the owners and investors of the project that Don't even live near by, making them more rich. It will ONLY benefit the people who didn't BOTHER to ask Eagle Pass residents if we would like to have a project like this just in our backyard, it is a big lie that it will bring more than 200 000 employment opportunities, mostly will be temporary (construction) this small town doesn't even have that amount of people, we are not even close to 30000 people. Thanks for your time. Consider it please.
