4/28/24 Concerned citizen, took a walk around my neighborhood and started asking my neighbors if they knew of this project. I collected 25 signatures of 9 houses on Cenizo Dr., 7 Commissary, 4 on Seco Rd. and 5 on Kiosko Ave. Everyone's is stating the same thing, we didn’t know this project was going to be on backyard, front view of my property, one lady is stating she is having the train in backyard and an International bridge on the right side of her home, and everyone’s concern is the same why on my backyard specially the families on Cenizo Dr. their house backyard is the view of Seco Creek, most of these people are elder citizens that don’t know how to operate the internet on their mobile phone much the less a computer. Showed them the map and all comments were in the same concern, is not only pollution but possible and potential chemical spills. Not only affecting humans, but all other living organisms in the surroundings such as animals and vegetation in addition to our water. I don't want my grandkids to breathe and get sick due to this, we already have a high cancerous area we don't need to add more. The moral of the story, we are left out of our local Representative, Judge and Commissioner that are approving this project without asking the affected community. We Seco Subdivision and rest of the affected areas needs your help. We do not approve the area which they choose to do this project, it can be moved to outskirts of the population. Please help make this right for the Citizens of Eagle Pass and Maverick County. Thank You for taking the time to read my (ours) opinion. Gracie
