We are opposed to the Green Eagle Railroad route project. It may be beneficial for commerce, but it is not beneficial to the citizens living in the surrounding area or our community in general. There is the Seco Mines Community Center as well as Elementary School in the vicinity that would all be affected with increased pollution and contaminants. There are many other people within this vecinity that are completely unaware of the negative consequences to their everyday life, if this project is approved. There are also others who feel our voices will be dismissed and left unheard because this is a political decision that has already been decided on, yet many in the seco mines area are opposed to this project. Please deny he Green Eagle Railroad route project.
