I would like to record my concern towards the upcoming Green Eagle Railroad project for Eagle Pass TX. This project will not only pollute our air quality, add noise pollution and risk a chemical contamination in our residential neighborhoods. We are home owners, tax payers, US Citizens who live peaceful in a quiet environment. We have invested in our own homes to live a tranquil environment. Some of us have small children to raise and will now have to run the risk of a hazard that can derail or contaminate the area. Several of us recently purchased our homes during this high market value era and now run the risk of our houses devaluing after this project is complete. I would suggest this project be placed where there are no stabilized neighborhoods further north in ranch lands or offer to buy each house at current market value that will suffer such risks. Please reconsider the location.
