I fully endorse the comments submitted in this docket by Utah Physicians for a HealthyEnvironment, et al., regarding the Draft Environmental Assessment Docket No. FD 36616 – Savage Tooele Railroad Company – Construction and Operation – Line of Railroad in Tooele County, Utah. Building this line would harm wetlands critical to the survival of the Great Salt Lake which is in imminent danger of collapse. It would also pollute the air in Tooele County which already violates EPA standards by incentivizing the building of massive warehouse farms all served by diesel semi trucks emitting far more PM2.5 and Nix than is currently emitted in the county.
