This letter is in regards to the proposed Kings Park, NY Railroad Site. The location in mind is an extreme hazard to the community, Access to this site is located already in a highly populated residential area. The community has numerous recycling businesses. Concrete/Brush and organic materials. Air pollution and quality is already filled with Silca Dust and other matters. There are two concrete companies, RJ Murray and Carlson which make materials for transit trucks, asphalt and recycling. This area already has two closed landfills. We all know what these landfills are doing to our community. This area is backed up by residential homes . There are (2) schools, one being a primary school and the other a high school within (1) mile. We cannot afford anymore hazardous actions by others to add to an already existing problem. In addition, one of the communities that is less than half a mile from this proposed area is a highly desirable area, called the Candy Section. Homes value to well over 1 million dollars. If this railroad is put into place, our community will also face a decrease in value of our homes. We thank you in advance for your attention to this matter and truly hope you reconsider moving this project further out east where the population is far less than the highly desired Commack area. Sincerely, Danielle and James Dinda
