My family and I are very concerned and terribly upset about the property near us being turned into a railroad freight yard. Not only breathing air pollution but also drinking water affected by the chemicals and other waste that will seep into the aquifer, located directly beneath the proposed site. Our sleeping will be affected by the noise of rail cars being moved and trucks carrying debris, especially at night. How are our children at the three nearby schools, playgrounds and neighborhoods going to play outside when the air pollution will affect their breathing? These are the years when they are growing and their bodies are forming, and by inducing additional pollutants into the air they breath will have an adverse affect on their development, PLEASE - DO NOT put the rail freight yard on the Carlson property!!! Our lives and the lives of future generations will be affected.
