This Train Depot for Garbage is not located in an environmentally safe area. It is not zoned for heavy industry. It is less than two miles from our watershed area which supports varied and abundant wildlife. This area is clay based soil which has increased runoff from the total area and runs into our waterways. This whole process and application has not been studied in depth as the application was fast tracked and not made public until half the process was already completed. The roads leading to this area often flood and become unpassable, increased trucks hauling hazardous waste will distress the already overloaded roads. Which need constant repair to the already heavy loads they carry now.
