I am very concerned that the proposed and privately owned, rail transfer facility will be hauling considerable amounts of refuse to be incinerated in our residential community. The resulting toxic ash will then be transferred out. This refuse is not only household trash, but will contain pesticides chemicals, heavy metals and more. Some of these are banned but will get through anyway. Incinerator ash is one of the most toxic combinations of hazardous materials. The 2017 Huntington incinerator emissions statement includes a whole list of carcinogens and neurological poisons such as benzene and dioxin. Rain and wind can disperse the ash during transportation and spills are common. The incineration aspect of this project is only part of the problem. As a common carrier, Townline Rail will be obliged to transport hazardous materials. The rail lines run through several residential communities in close proximity to homes, schools and hospitals. The Federal Railroad Administration has documented 1,475 d4erailments per year from 2005-2021. We only have to regard the derailments in E. Palestine Ohio and others to see the implications of what could happen here.. This area is not suitable for heavy and risky industrial zoning. This project should be cancelled now
