As a born and raised resident of the Uintah Basin, I fully support the railroad and I hope to see it progress. This railroad will be a great cost effective way to import and export products, and our businesses can continue to thrive. It will also help decrease tax dollars for residence because heavy highway construction will be required less frequently. The railroad will help reduce energy consumption. Pollution and green house gas emissions will decrease. And our roads will be less congested. Our economy will grow, the job market will increase and it will be a very beneficial part of our community.
