Please do NOT authorize the railroad line along the Arkansas River to go back into operation. I frequently visit the Arkansas valley to raft, bike and camp. I seek out the natural beauty and peacefulness that this area offers. By allowing trains to travel through these sensitive habitats, the qualities I mentioned above will be tarnished. I also fear that any kind of derailment or spill would jeopardize the environment and the recreational opportunities. It’s not worth it. Please don’t operate trains along the Arkansas River.
