Comment EI-30599

Received or sent (printed as 1/18/2021)

Please do not allow the Uinta Basin Railway to continue. If it is allowed, it will seriously impact our air, water, and land. Already we have an air pollution problem and increasing congestion and pollution in the Salt Lake City area and the Wasatch corridor. Thinking about the future, we must utilize only clean renewable power--electric, wind, possibly geothermal. Transportation will have to be electric, powered by the sun. Railway access will exacerbate environmental impact. Future generations must be considered carefully.
