Comment EI-30429

Received or sent (printed as 1/4/2021)

I am writing to state my strong opposition to the Uinta Railroad project. Not only will it risk environmental damage to the area in Utah through which it runs, it will be the first link in a line that will ultimately runn through Colorado's upper Arkansas Valley and the Browns Canyon National Monument where an accident would be catastrophic for the Monument, the river and the large tourist industry that supports Chafee County. Most importantly, we do not need to increase oil and gas production, since the industry is the prime driver of climate disruption and needs to be wound down, not up. Please deny any and all permits requested by the developers. Sincerely, Ken Bonetti, Boulder, Colorado.
