FD 36284 · SEVEN COUNTY INFRASTRUCTURE COALITION--RAIL CONSTRUCTION & OPERATION EXEMPTION--IN UTAH, CARBON, DUCHESNE, AND UINTAH COUNTIES, UTAH

Comment EI-30317

Received or sent (printed as 8/27/2019)

We are an industrial saw mill, just North of Duchesne. We employ approx. 15 people, including our logging operation. Our main market is providing timbers to local coal mines in the Price area. With the railroad, we would be able to send our timbers down to Emery County and eliminate trucks going over Indian Canyon. We also have the possibly of being awarded the contract for prividing the railroad project with timbers for the construction, keeping that revenue here in the Basin.
