The Craig route is longer but it would be the least impactful on the overall environment of the area, that being the more fragile mountain areas. Heavy construction would be required for every mile because of smaller corridors and private land owners through these areas. I am deeply concerned you are not showing or asking for impacts on the Colorado side of the lines.
