Comment EI-30307

Received or sent (printed as 8/15/2019)

I am currently working with the Duchesne County Transportation District on the Duchesne County Trails Master Plan. Many residents in the county have made comments regarding trails and the need to protect access to those trails. From working with the residents there, I would recommend using trails as a mitigation for the impacts of the rail in Duchesne County. We would ask that you refer to the finished trails master plan that will be adopted this coming spring and work with local trails committee's and entities to identify trails that could be implemented to mitigate for the impacts of the rail. Additionally, in Uintah County if the Craig Route is used we would ask that you refer to the Uintah County Trails Master Plan to identify trail projects that could be used to mitigate the effects of the railway through Uintah County.
