Comment EI-30290

Received or sent (printed as 8/2/2019)

I strongly oppose the building of any of these three options of railway. I strongly object due to the potential resultant devastation to countless acres of natural vibrant ecosystems. In addition I strongly object to the building of any of these rail lines due to the high potential for resulting extraction of some of the most carbon intensive fossil fuels on the planet. At this point in time only ostriches with their heads in the sand or toadies of the fossil fuel industry aren't aware that the type of fossil fuels that this railway concept are meant to facilitate the extraction of are best to be left in the ground. The carbon cost of rendering them usable is prohibitively high. Please assess all of the potential environmental damage, both locally and globally not just from the actual railroad, but from the industries it will facilitate.
