If the Craig Route is chosen as the preferred alternative for this project, the Colorado Public Utilities Commission will need to be included in the process of determination of the proper location of public highway-rail crossings and determination of the appropriate level of warning devices for these crossings. Please make sure to keep the Colorado PUC included in all future notifications of this EIS process and feel free to reach out to us for any questions you may have regarding how our agency would be involved regarding siting and construction of the Craig Route alternative.
