On the plus side, this would seem like a more efficient way to transport oil and also would remove much of the tanker truck traffic off of Highway 40, hopefully making it much safer. On the negative side, building a rail line through Indian Canyon is unthinkable. This is a "Scenic Byway" and would be totally ruined by the laying of tracks and the subsequent train traffic. Additionally, the Indian Canyon route would run literally through my backyard, which would greatly diminish the quality of life here in the "Mini Ranches". In summary, a definite NO on the Indian Canyon route.
