As Utahns we deserve a healthy and viable future, and the Uinta Basin Railway is positioned to jeopardize that reality. Unfortunately, the Uinta Basin Railway oil train is an issue that stands to affect all Utahns and communities across the country. By quadrupling oil production in the Uinta Basin, the project is poised to exacerbate the already horrible air quality in Utah and lead to other negative consequences on our lands, water, and public safety as well as economic growth due to pollution. As a long time Utah resident, I am writing in opposition to the Uinta Basin Railway.
