FD 36284 · SEVEN COUNTY INFRASTRUCTURE COALITION--RAIL CONSTRUCTION & OPERATION EXEMPTION--IN UTAH, CARBON, DUCHESNE, AND UINTAH COUNTIES, UTAH

Comment EI-30269

Received or sent (printed as 7/16/2019)

Rail service to the Uintah Basin is desperately needed. This area is landlocked and without adequate transportation this region of Utah will remain depressed. Mineral lease monies for the entire state are driven by the production from the United Basin. A railway over Indian Canyon provides an avenue to 2 competing rail lines versus a single monopolistic line in Colorado. Please help the citizens of this area in providing the long awaited route for prosperity.
