I strongly support the railroad, particularly the preferred Indian Canyon route with its east and west terminals. I sympathize with those who may be adversely affected by the proposed path, however the cost of progress and growth is almost always unevenly paid out to a degree. I hope to see my hometown grow and thrive well into the future so that my children and grandchildren can enjoy it as I did. While the rail will likely concentrate economic activity more into extractive industry in the short-run, economic diversity may be gained in the long-run once a critical mass of population is reached. Please approve this project, but let's execute it wisely while minimizing any harm to our beautiful Basin and wildlands. Reed Page Rocky Mountain Energy Economist
