The railway offers a much better transportation alternative for moving the oil and gas products in the Uintah Basin. Further, this method of moving these important products of the Uintah Basin is a much safer, cleaner transportation alternative. Consider the hundreds of trucks currently moving these resources along these roads that would be limited to short hauls, thereby improving the local air quality and safety by using the railway. Additionally, the economy and thus the people living in the Uintah Basin would greatly benefit and profit from this improved transportation option for its products. Please be fair when considering the tremendous benefits this railway will do for the economy of this region and all who live here.
