Comment EI-30199

Received or sent (printed as 9/2/2019)

I feel this railway has no respect for for the UINTAH Basin when they can't even spell our home right. I feel like somewhere in the fine print the people who reside in the Basin are going to suffer... job loss, stealing of public and private lands, wildlife and habitat loss, etc. One of my very favorite things about the community at large is they have a respect for their cultural and historical roots. It's not the "drill baby drill" attitude I was surrounded by when I lived in Wyoming and Nevada. I feel this railway is exactly that, a bunch of rich railway / oil barons coming in to line their pockets with promises of a brighter future for the community only to leave a strip mined wasteland in its wake. The losses in comparison to what we "might" gain are to great to risk.
