Uinta basin has lacked progress and growth in Utah. It is high time the county needs to grow and add value to the community growth. The proposed railroad is a good start. The facility shall enable for oil industry to facilitate establish new businesses such as oil refineries. Additionally, new ancillary manufacturing activity will facilitate the business activity around such businesses. This added infrastructure in the area shall create much needed new employment opportunities. The educational institutes such as Utah State University and Uinta Basin Technical college can assist the business growth employments needs. I have attended several meetings related to the this subject. I am of the opinion that the county, state and federal government are committed to bring the necessary change to the community. This project is viable and need of the time. I support their efforts made in the right direction.
