I believe the railroad project would greatly benefit the economy of the basin. We have had past county commissioners state that the basin's economy had developed to the point that we no longer depend on the oil industry for primary support for our infrastructure. Now the commissioners are struggling to make their budget on much lower mineral lease funds. The simple truth is, support the oil industry or not, we all benefit from that revenue throughout the entire basin in one form or another.
