Thank you for providing a place for people to voice their concerns in regards to the railway routes. I would like to voice my opposition to the railway in Indian Canyon. My family owns three different parcels of land in Indian Canyon. My Grandma bought the first 10 acre parcel many years ago. Later my parents bought it from her. About 10 years ago my brother bought a 20 acre parcel close to my parents. This year my husband and I bought a 10 acre parcel minutes away from my parents land. We are excited to create memories with our small growing family. I believe a railway going through the canyon would cause strain to the property, it's owners, and the environment. The increased fire danger, destruction of land, construction, damage to wilderness, and harm to wildlife is something I hope the STB will consider. We are neighbors. We are friends. We are individuals who have spent our lives dedicated to these mountains. Our ancestors have done the same. This is our second home. Please help us protect it and us from the irreparable damage a railway would cause to our precious mountain. Thank you!
