I am very supportive of the Uintah Basin Railway for several reasons. First, there is tremendous development potential for the oil and gas industry in the basin that can never be realized without better transportation. Second, this project will increase business, job and career opportunities for basin kids, by promoting economic diversity in the basin. Third, crude oil truck traffic on Hwy 40 is causing high maintenance costs and dangerous driving conditions. Let's build this railway!
