The Uinta Basin Railroad is something that stands in direct opposition to the wellbeing of Utah's public lands and I for one, will not stand for it. When the effects of climate change are more obvious than ever and the supposed economic benefits of increasing oil production in the basin are nothing but a smokescreen perpetuated by callous oil industry execs who care for nothing but profit, there is NO reason for anyone else in Utah or Colorado to support this railroad. The efforts of the oil industry to "improve" the security of oil transportation by replacing automobiles with trains should not viewed as a problem the industry is seeking to solve, but as a problem they created in the first place.
