Comment EI-30086

Received or sent (printed as 7/21/2019)

I previously worked as an engineer in the oil and gas business. I know the permanent damage that fossil fuel development and use has on our environment. We must greatly reduce our use of fossil fuels and the Enormous costs it's inflicting on us. Utah hasn't kept pace with the direction of other states in a more sustainable future. We're old school and need to adjust our thinking. This is why I don't support this railway connection. We must more fully use renewable sources. Please fully consider why it is that we continue on this destructive path of fossil fuel development. We must get on the path of sustainable resources, not on the worn path of destructive fossil fuels. Thank you. Randy Vorhies.
