Comment EI-30080

Received or sent (printed as 7/20/2019)

I wish to comment on the proposed project so that either the no action alternative or the environmentally preferred alternative is chosen. The project analysis should analyze how the proposed project will impact both individually and cumulatively affect global climate change. The project will add to this problem by greatly increasing carbon releasing resources into the environment. Not just the project itself, but the construction of the project rail line as well use of it will greatly increase CO2 emissions to the environment. As such the project should not be implemented. If it is to be implemented a fully analysis of these greenhouse gas emissions must be included in the EIS. The project should avoid lands that are wilderness quality or roadless areas. It should avoid all stream crossings to the extent possible, avoid effects to wildlife, air quality, rare and endangered species, and cultural resources. This project is unnecessary as we're already seeing tremendous and negative impacts of global climate change including here in Utah and the west. This project will only increase these problems. Thanks for considering.
