I have heard several times that this proposed rail system will be multi commerce, not just oil and gas driven. It was said that hay and alfalfa growers would be able to ship crops and future green industry would be able to expand to the Vernal area. If this is the case then only the Craig line alternative is prudent. Leland bench is in the heart of oil and gas country and the appearance of beginning the Indian Canyon or Wells Draw route from here only demonstrates that it will be an oil and gas driven rail system. I really wish to support this project but more than lip service needs to be paid to non extraction industries. The Indian Canyon route needs initially begin along the Bonanza Highway south of 6000 south. Thing about your desired future condition... a rail service that truly is for all commerce.
