Thank you for the opportunity to be heard on the potential Craig railroad route. My family owns land along the proposed route. First and foremost, our family's concerns lie with the preservation of the Colorado habitat and its environment. We also, however, understand that well planned development at times must occur. As such, it would seem that if a railroad is required, the shortest route would be in the best interests of the habitat and its environment. It is our understanding that the Craig route is considerably longer than the other two options. Colorado is a very special place and its habitat and environment should be preserved to the best of our abilities for all future generations to enjoy.
