I am OPPOSED to the Great Lakes Basin Railroad's proposal to be built in Illinois' Winnebago County. My wife and I built our home(ten years ago)in a semi-rural area of Winnebago County and have enjoyed the quiet / off-the-beat area of our home. The proposed Great Lakes Basin Railroad would effect our rural environment's water supply as well as add noise pollution to our life-style to which we have become accustomed. I urge you and the Surface Transportation Board to consider the needs of the residents in this proposed area as well as the rural / agrarian industry which has existed in this area for nearly 150 years. Please DENY the Great Lakes Basin Railroad's request to build a railroad line(s) in Illinois' Winnebago County.
