I am opposed to the proposed Great Lakes Basin Railroad that is routed through Winnebago County and the other parts of northern Illinois. The damage to the environment, the trampling of private property rights, and the disregard to the rights of private citizens who oppose this over reach of eminent domain continue to be ignored. How many times does this group need to be told NO by those affected until they get the message. This needs to be shut down immediately. We do not want it. This proposal will divide and destroy family farms and family farmers. This will needs to be shut down and not be brought back up again.
