DEAR MR. BLODGETT, I HAVE RECEIVED FRIGHTENING INFORMATING ON A THE GREAT LAKES BASIN RAILROAD LAYING ITS TRACKS IN DAVIS JUNCTION, ILLINOIS THIS IS A SMALL COMMUNITY FILLED WITH CHILDREN AND HOMES VERY CLOSE TO THE PROPOSED LAYING OF THE TRACKS. THE INPACT ON THIS COMMUNITY FROM NOISE, HOME VALUES, POSSIBLE CARS WITH HAZARDOUS MATEIAL WELL YOU GET THE IDEA. YOU WOULD NOT WANT A RAILROAD IN YOUR BACK YARD. WE MOVED TO THE COUNTRY TO GET AWAY FROM THE CITY TRAFFIC AND NOISE. I WOULD APPRECIATE THAT YOU CONSIDER THE PEOPLE INSTEAD OF THE PROFITS, WE ALL KNOW WHAT THIS IS ALL ABOUT, DON’T WE????
