My family lives near the planned location for the Great Lakes Basin Railroad. Please do everything you can to STOP the construction of this railroad! This railroad, if built, will send trains at high speeds every 10-15 minutes every day of the week right by my and many other neighborhoods. Roads that we and other residents currently use and need will be permanently closed. Emergency vehicles will no longer have direct access to our area, and it will take an extra 20 minutes for them to respond to emergencies. These trains will also be carrying hazardous materials, in addition to regular freight. An accident would be a disaster for our neighborhood. My family has two small children. We moved here specifically to have peace and quiet and a safe, healthy environment for our children to grow up in. Please protect our home. Sincerely, Jeff, Bonny, Noah, and Ben Garcea
