Hello again, Ms. Rutson, Jason Kokos here. Writing you again because I'm very disappointed the GLB is being offered yet ANOTHER extension to their deadline. Kind of defeats the purpose of a deadline, doesn't it? Anyways, not to be flip, but you could understand mine and others frustration at this point. I'm a 30 year old with a wife, 2 kids, and another on the way. I work 50-60 hours a week and I can ill afford to spend more of my precious free time opposing this travesty of a project. I stand to lose my home, land, town, and everything my wife and I worked to achieve since college. You may not think this is an environmental concern, but it surely effects my environment, and the entire environment of hardworking people, especially farmers who go about their business to put food on yours and this country's table. Perhaps the STB should further consider the concerns of the Kankakee County farm bureau. They've certainly explained the detriment of this project in their previous letter to the STB. Beyond that, one step further would the Illinois Farm Bureau. They have as well. Are these agencies concerns not being taken into account? I'd think at this point with all the negative feedback to date that this would be an easy decision for the STB? Maybe we are not understanding this weird and atypical process this far? Could you please provide the public with responses to all of the questions and comments submitted? That would help. So many comments to date, yet no responses?
