Dear Ms. Rutson, In response to the deadline of February 28th to the GLB for an update and their letter asking, again for an extension to the suspension of the EIS, I insist the STB set a definite time limit for the suspension and give the GLB a firm deadline. This open-ended extension further allows the threat of the GLB hanging over our heads, we who stand to lose our homes and everything we have and worked for, insist that a deadline be set. The suspensions and extensions that you have already granted to the GLB are completely unfair to us. I want to know if you realize that this proposal threatens to wipe out a whole township? a 15,000 acre rail port, where there are people already living and working and thriving? GLB would like you to think it is barren wasteland just waiting for them to come in and develop it. We are far from barren wasteland! We are established homes, farms, churches, business, schools, cemeteries, greenhouses, and we do not deserve to live with the threat of eminent domain hanging over our heads for an undetermined amount of time. And that goes for the rest of the proposed rail line. No landowner or resident of these communities should have to be faced with this threat from this undeveloped company for an unproven benefit. We request that the extension of the pause will be the last extension and that the application will be considered withdrawn if not provided at the specified deadline. Thank you, Julie Kokos Sumner Township Kankakee County IL
